When Professor Constables daughter passes away from leukemia at the age of ten, he becomes convinced that he is in communication with her from beyond the grave.

The Poseidon Adventure, 1969.

An adventure novel concerning the capsizing of a luxurious ocean liner, the S.S. Poseidon and the desperate struggles of a handful of survivors to reach the bottom of the liners hull before the ship sinks.

Matilda, 1970.

When a Broadway agent sells a boxing kangaroo to a showman who rang up for a knife-thrower, something really gets started.

The Boy Who Invented the Bubble Gun, 1974.

An adventure story following the odyssey of Julian West, a young boy on a lonely and courageous journey to patent his invention.

Beyond the Poseidon Adventure, 1978.

Taking the surviving characters of The Poseidon Adventure, as delineated in the motion picture, and carries on with the action both inside and outside the partly submerged hulk of the ship.

The House that Wouldnt Go Away, 1979.

A masterful story of a house that is haunted by another house.


CONDITION

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor wear and light fading to the extremities. Original dust wrappers are unclipped other than Confessions of a Story-Teller, The Poseidon Adventure, The Boy Who Invented the Bubble Gun, and Matilda, which have been price-clipped. Wrappers are smart with light wear and the odd small closed tear to the panel edges. Minor sunning to the spines with the odd small mark. Light loss to the head and tail of the spine of Confessions of a Story-Teller, with a 1" closed tear to the rear panel. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Light age toning to the endpapers with a contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper of the odd volume.
