Available is this 339 page 6" by 9" softcover titled "BRAVE and Other Stories" by Steve M. Matthes and published in 1988 as a 1st edition by Vera Orton Matthes. A scarce flat-signed copy.

The book is about mountainlion and big cat hunting in the Western United States with hounds. SteveMatthes worked for the Fish and Wildlife Service as a professional hunter andalso guided mountain lion hunts. He worked from the 1940s to the 1980s. Braveis the name of one of Steves favorite hunting dogs. The book has lots ofphotos throughout the book to go along with each of the stories. Photos are ofmountain lion hunts, and big cat kills and his hunting dogs. One chapter isdevoted to Steves personal experience with Bigfoot tracks.
