Levi's is a supporting sponsor of Art in the Streets, and hosted a Levis Film Workshop inside the museum.
Throughout the duration of Art in the Streets Levis released 10 versions of its iconic “Trucker Jacket” denim jackets. The project was curated by Shepard Faireys Studio Number One and each jacket in the series featured original artwork by Art in the Streets exhibitors. The jackets sold for $250 at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in Los Angeles and were released in chronological order from when each artist started writing.
This iconic black size S Levis trucker jacket is very rare, as it was super limited and features a printedNasty Neckface artwork in white / chrome on the back with one of his classic naïve, grungy and scratchy painted monster / demon characters that are inspired by heavy metal, latrinalia and medieval motifs. Small printed neckface signature / tag on the inside of the jacket included. Slight signs of wear on the buttonholes. For vintage / retro streetwear collectors and enthusiasts of graffiti bombing / tagging, antistyle, punk rock, hip hop culture, grunge, metal music, horror, and cool / dark / modern / contemporary / urban / abstract art.
