The original Morris Cowley motorcar was first built in 1915, and, being successful, was developed into a delivery van, introduced in 1924. This van is characterised by its use of a slightly-flattened version of the famous Morris "bullnose" radiator grille.

The Y47 was a development of the Y19 Cowley Van, with the oval windows behind the cab doors omitted. Only one variant was produced, in the livery of Lindt Chocolate. There were problems with the tampo machine, which could not get a perfect print of the drop-shadow effect on the logo, so the model has labels for the main wording, although the wording on the doors is tampo printed.

Good used condition, in original Type N1 (Made in China) box. Box has some minor wear, but no serious rips, splits or taped-up corners. Model itself is near mint, and still screwed to card diorama. See photos - all photos show actual item.
