This is a 3D Eagle. The wings are separate. Some of the lighter ones are flat. The 3D effect has a better look but the flat ones might sit a little better.

Where it is signed. Most are signed on the wing and dated on the wing. It is just etched in. Those tend to be lighter in weight. This one is stamped with extra gold under the wing and the wing is just dated 85'

The tail feathers. The tail feathers on this one go behind BOTH feet. On the others the tail feathers do NOT go behind both legs.

The tail feathers and the thicker stamp is where the extra weight comes from (compared to other 3D separate wing pendants). These are not big differences but it is about an extra gram of gold. From what I can see, there is not any other noticeable differences. I take the weight on 2 calculators and if the weight is different I always take the lower weight. It is usually only off by about .1-.2. I think this is the size of the calculators, but that is why I use 2. This Eagle has so much detail. On the back wing, the feathers that are not behind the front wing are feather cut to sparkle. The lower feathers are not Diamond cut showing a shadow appearance…. Which I think is amazing detail. It is the same for the tail feathers. The feathers behind the feet are not Diamond cut to make it look more realistic! Very pretty piece. I took so many pictures from so many angles because it just looks so much better in person. I just couldn't get a picture that looked as amazing as it does in person!
