A selection of six short stories by Frank Harris, containing Elder Conklin, The Sheriff and His Partner, A Modern Idyll, Eatin Crow,  The Best Man in Garotte, and Gulmore, the Boss.

Harris was a popular Irish-American author, friendly with many of the notable figures of his day. He tired of a legal career and begun his career in journalism in the 1880s, after travelling Europe on a literary quest.


CONDITION

In the original publishers cloth binding. Externally, smart, with fading to the spine, lighter fading to the boards. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few small marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot. Blind stamp to the head of the title.
