Absolutely incredible piece all around. Features two handcarved, handpainted bird figures by Starr Decoys of Vermont, each signed by thier creator, Gary H. Starr. One is a Robin, while the other is a an Eastern Bluebird. The interior is finished off with a hand crafted nest of bird eggs. The birds are suspended from the ceiling of the antique house with a semi-rigid wire, that when subjected to a ceiling fan or breeze, causes them to move gently as if fluttering around the cage. The birdhouse is an original Victorian handcrafted piece, all original, with removable tray and wire door. Practically flawless- only some very minor finish wear to wood of birdhouse.
