This listing is for one (1) 3/4" or .750" outside diameter high precision ball bearing lead screw and double nut assembly. It has .200" lead which means the screw will need to be rotated 5 times to make the nut advance 1.000". It has a pair of anti-backlash nuts with each nut having two circuits of recirculating balls. These two circuits of recirculating balls are preloaded to eliminate backlash in the nut assembly. I have 10 of these double nut assemblies available at this time.

There is an identical pair of nut assemblies on this screw because the manufacturer that ordered it as a special cut each screw in half in the middle which made a pair of shorter screw assemblies with one nut on each screw. If one cuts this 30" long leadscrew assembly in half in the middle, each nut will have about 9.0" of travel.

This leadscrew is 30.00" long overall with 3.75" of unthreaded smooth 3/4" diameter shaft each end. The nut assembly is 2.30" long overall with a housing diameter of 1.15" It has a flange that is 2.25" in diameter and .40" thick. The flange has 3 mounting holes that are 9/32" in diameter and are equally spaced on a 1.75" diameter bolt circle. This nut assembly features white felt wipers on each end to keep debris out of the nut assembly.

If you need this same screw assembly with more travel and a single nut rather than a pair of nuts, I will have them available on eBay listing number _____________soon. I have about 50 of them that are about 30" long overall and have about 23.50" of nut travel.

I will also soon be listing pairs of preloaded Hoover-NSK ballscrew support bearings with the part number of 20TAC47XADF. The above leadscrew had a step turned on both ends to accept a sleeve that would match the bore of this pair of bearings. I have a few of those sleeves as well as a few of the above screws that have the end of the screw turned down and the sleeve installed. I also hope to soon list many timing belt pulleys and matching timing belts that have .2" pitch.

The screw assembly offered here was part of a retrofit kit that was used to convert a Hardinge Model HC hand chucking lathe to CNC use with a Bandit numerical control. I have all of the mechanical parts to that retrofit kit if anyone is interested in upgrading one of those wonderful Hardinge lathes.

The screw assembly offered here was also part o a Z-axis quill drive used to adapt a Series 1 Bridgeport milling machine for use as a CNC milking machine. I can supply those complete Z-axis quill drive assemblies as well as motor mounts for both the X-axis and Y-axis on those Bridgeport vertical milling machines.
