A long-standing staple of the American West, rodeo’s roots reach back to the 1800s. The confluence of mestizo, Indigenous and Anglo cultures the original rodeos manifested in ranch-versus-ranch showdowns, where riding and roping techniques took center stage and rules were few. Among the pioneers of what would become an iconic American spectator sport, Black ranch owners and hands changed the face of rodeo with groundbreaking techniques and crowd-pleasing flair throughout the 1900s. An homage to America’s first action sport, this Dunk Lows colors and details are inspired by Southwest heritage unique to its Black pioneers.

Blazing a turquoise trail, the Dunk "Rodeo" subverts conventions with bold color choices and boot stitch details in a mixed suede and forest leather upper.
