DESCRIPTION
Illustrated throughout, with numerous illustrations throughout. Illustrations comprise of full page plates and vignettes. These tales are taken from the Peter Parleys Annuals. Peter Parley was a pseudonym for Samuel Griswold Goodrich. Goodrich was an American author who published several annuals. This work has been issued by the Ben George Juvenile Library.
CONDITION
In original tooled cloth binding. Externally, generally smart with bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Small loss to the head and tail of spine due to bumping and rubbing. Small splits to the head and tail of joints. Patches of light rubbing to the spine. Hinges are slightly strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are slightly age toned to edges with instances of scattered spotting, heavier to the rear of plates which has caused some offsetting.
