A History of the English-Speaking Peoples offers a broad history of Britain and its former colonies and possessions throughout the world.
Churchill began this work during the early 1930s, but did not complete it until after his final retirement as prime minister in 1956-1958, delayed several times by war and his work on other texts.
Across the volumes he covers from Caesars invasions up to the end of the Second Boer War.
With twenty-four plates to volumes I-III, thirty-two plates to volume IV, and numerous in-text illustrations to each.

CONDITION
Uniformly bound in the publishers original cloth. Externally, with rubbing and bumping to the extremities and some marks and dusting to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with a few scattered spots to the endpapers.
