" Hydrocolceus Minutus"ORIGINAL HAND COLORED LITHOGRAPH by Englands foremost bird artist, John Gould. He is considered by some to be the English Audubon.

It is in very good original condition. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS WHICH ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.

From "Birds of Great Britain" published in London between 1862 & 1873 (it took 11 years to complete the set) in which there were 367 hand colored lithographs each of a different bird species. There were 397 original subscribers who paid Gould in advance to own a copy of the complete work. A total of 500 copies were produced.
