Rare President Truman White House Mechanical Pencil

This is rare and hard to find President Truman official White House mechanical pencil that I obtained directly from the personal collection of a former White House staffer. Mechanical pencils were considered pretty high tech for the day. This is a fairly large mechanical pencil a good 5 3/4" long and fairly thick. It bears the inscription.

However what makes this pencil truly special is their is a black and white photo of President Truman sitting at his desk in The Oval Office at the top of this mechanical pencil. This item is in excellent condition with only slight yellowing on the white part. There is no lead so I can not check the functionality of this mechanical pencil so it is sold as a Truman White House collectible only.
